If snowshoes are too slow and you prefer the effort of the ascent to the descent, ski mountaineering is your discipline. Sealskins, boots, hard work and satisfaction: this discipline combines physical effort with contemplation of open and solemn natural spaces. Unlike snowshoeing, ski mountaineering allows you to reach higher altitudes and almost touch the clear winter sky at the foot of the Grand Combi.
